Random Thoughts
I've had a lot of things on my mind lately...
Yoga is ever present in my thoughts, it has helped with my joint pain tremendously. I highly recommend Core Power Yoga if you haven't tried it before (they even offer a free week).
My older dog Bugsy hasn't been doing so well lately...he is becoming aggressive as his vision starts to go. It has been stressing me out a lot lately.
Poodle puppies have been on my mind...
I have been thinking about redoing our backyard. I think we will try to do it next spring, I can't wait!
The Melting Pot, Fondu, and basically any kind of melted cheese or good food have been constantly in my thoughts...
Most importantly, vacation has been on mind. It can't get here soon enough!
What you have been thinking about lately?

Ingenue
I have not only be neglecting my blog this summer but I have also been neglecting my crafting in favor of yoga, Tichu, and reading. I am going on vacation soon though and I plan to get back to a bit of crafting, I want to try to knit this sweater while I am away (Ingenue in Custom Knits).
Maybe I will get a chance to work on my snowball quilt again soon too - I just need my kiddo to get healthy again and my yoga addiction to level out!

Summer Time
I know I have been neglecting my blog lately but I have been busy with summer. I started exercising again which has been eating up a lot of my free time and currently my snowball quilt is taking up my entire art room so I haven't been doing very many craft projects. Also my Nook has been calling to me so I have been doing a lot of reading.
Here are some Fourth of July pictures. My parents took Chase to a parade.

Snowball Quilt - City Fair
I recently found and bought the City Fair quilt pattern by Cherry House Quilts. Honestly I was slightly disappointed with the pattern because I had hoped there would be more color selection recommendations and tips. The pattern itself is really simple (it is a snowball pattern set on the diagonal) and I could have figured out the math myself but I bought the pattern to try to get the nice color flow that the City Fair quilt had...no such luck. Oh well.
Here is what my art room looks like right now, I am attempting at selecting good colors for the quilt but I find that I just don't have a good eye for color. The fabric has been purchase though so I am stuck with what I have.
Here are my first few rows.
