Lululemon Addict
I am officially a Lululemon addict. Here are some of my latest loves.
The Stride jacket is awesome. It has a turtle neck plus a hood and of course the thumb holes that I love. I got it in solid black and I can see myself wearing it with everything.
I seached ALL OVER for these in size small (apparently there is a shortage). The W Brisk arm warmers...they are awesome, they have thumb slits, a slot for a key, pockets on the back of the hands that could hold an ID, a slit for my iPod to stick out of so I can still access my touch screen, and even a reflective stripe. Pretty much they are awesome. I have yet to take them for a run but I will let you know if they stay up.
These pants (dance studio pants) have a nice wide elastic waist band and fun gathers. They are very flattering.
I love the Run Swiftly long sleeve shirt. It is a very light weight knit shirt but it is still warm and has thumb slits. It is great over a yoga shirt or on its own.
I also got a neck warmer which I haven't test driven but it is super soft inside and has a draw string to help it stay up. Can't wait to try it.
Last but not least I got a Centered Pose tank which fits amazingly. I am rather busty so sometimes I have a hard time getting yoga tops that fit and feel like they provide enough coverage but this top was awesome. Also it was loose enough in the tummy area that I didn't feel self conscious.
Lovin' Lululemon......

Rock Revival
I used to be opposed to the price tag associated with designer jeans but I have finally caved and admitted that they often do look better than cheap jeans. So for all of you moms out there looking for a pair of jeans that flatter a mom body I highly recommend Rock Revival jeans (at the Buckle). I bought the Eva jeans (relaxed boot cut) and they fit really well and are high rise enough to hide my mom belly.

The Running Experiment
So I am quite possibly the worst runner in the world. In fact last year I was going to try running a 5K with B and I just couldn't do it so he did it without me. Amazingly since I have started yoga the muscles in my knees and legs have finally gotten strong enough that I can run without pain. Today I wanted a baseline of what I could do and I was shooting for 10 minute miles so I wanted to finish my 5K in 30 minutes. Unfortunately I fell short of my goal and it took me 32 minutes. I am officially the worlds slowest runner. My hope is that if I can squeeze running into my exercise routine two to three times a week that I will be able to run a 5K in well under 30 minutes in a few months. Wish me luck...I am going to need it.
Note: So far my favorite part of running are my new running shoes and cute running outfits! I swear the gear is the only thing that keeps me exercising. One of my favorite things is the reflection running skirt from Lulumon.
Note 2: The other thing I'm going to experiment with is Zumba. I am taking my first class with a coworker next week. I am terribly uncoordinated so it may be a disaster but more to come on that soon.
