Our Potential New Home

I am not a risk taker and yet I am about to take one of the biggest risks of my life...owning two houses...eek!

Here is the floor plan.

We put in an offer on the last Infinity Balboa home at Stapleton today!!! It is the Carmel model like in my last post and if all goes well it should be done in August. It doesn't have the cabinets I like but we can still pick most of the other finishes. We should hear back on if our offer was accepted by the builder early next week. I am so excited - and yet owning two homes and renting one out is terrifying!

This would be our house - windows are in and everything - WOW! Wish us luck!!!!

House Dreams

I LOVE this house (Carmel model by Infinity). It is the same floor plan as the HGTV 2011 Green Home. It is modern, open, amazing...maybe someday...have to sell our house first...

Eggtastic

We started with two dozen eggs...

Unfortunately I followed online instructions for making perfect eggs (bring to a boil, let boil 1 minute, take off heat and let set for 15 minutes). The result...undercooked yolks...so much for hard boiled eggs to eat.

Chase was very serious about the process.

We bought the "monster" kit and the dinosaur kit. The monster kit was really fun...dinosaur one not so much.

Of course G made all the cutest eggs...

Nothing like dying Easter eggs while scarfing down Loft House cookies and mini cupcakes. The best part was that I was suppose to be at a night meeting last night but things worked out and I was able to spend a night with my family instead.

Boxed In

This is how impatient 3 year olds open cereal boxes while their moms are busy boiling Easter eggs.

Putt Putt

Chase used an interesting golfing technique (much like shoveling) but he did fairly well.

Tulips

Chase cut these for me while he was at his Grammy's house. What a perfect spring surprise.

Pedicures

As a team building activity we went and got pedicures, lunch, and frozen yogurt.  My team rocks!  This is the first time I have ever rocked green toes...hooray for spring.

My Grandma's Ring

I always loved my Grammy's wedding ring...I found a similar ring made by Tacori but it cost a small fortune...

So I opted for the non-eternity Jared's knock off version (that was only 15% the cost of the Tacori ring) and I stacked it with another diamond band and a plain gold band. I am very happy with the results.

Socks by Mom

Chase had a play date today.

It started with cinnamon rolls and smoothies...

Within 30 minutes our house looked like this...

The two kiddos are the same age / size -aren't they adorable together! The conversation between them was pretty hilarious...

But at least it allowed me to finish knitting these...

Spring Beading

Check out this fun spring necklace I made.

Chase ended up with this fun bracelet.

Swimsuits

So I must admit I am not quite ready for swimsuit season but I have fallen in love with "old fashioned" one pieces this year. Most of these are Juicy Couture.

This one is from Anthropologies.

Naughty Bread

One of my friends calls Pasquini's breadsticks "Naughty Bread". It is really the perfect description for their delicious butter and parmesan coated bread.

Although I will say that Olive Garden breadsticks with Alfredo dipping sauce are just as good...

Carbs and cheese may possibly be the best things on Earth.

Tasty

Look!  We finally joined the coffee drinking world. Our new Tassimo is easy to use and makes delicious drinks!

Also who doesn't love Rice Krispie Treats?

- 1 bag of marshmallows melted with 3 tablespoons of butter over low heat
- Mix with 6 cups of Rice Krispies
- Press into a pan

Amazing!

The Perfect Signature

How cute is 3 year old handwriting!  He wrote his name all by himself with no assistance :)

The Denver Car Show

We went to the car show today. A 3 year old at a car show may not have been the best idea...
