Last summer when we tried to take Chase swimming he was so timid that it took us half an hour to even get the kid to sit in the water. This year when we went back to the same pool I was expecting a similar situation since we hadn't done any pool time since last summer. Boy was I wrong! Chase was a wild boy in the pool, he walked right in and started putting his face in the water and blowing bubbles. He very quickly upgraded to sliding down the kid slide into the water and leaping off the side of the pool.
Chase has enjoyed splashing around in the hot tub.
He has also been very interested in trying out "big kid" games.
And the funniest thing of all....Chase has a new obsession with super heros. We have watched the same episodes of Super Hero Squad over and over and over. This is Chase pretending to be the Hulk with his Pops (every morning he greets Pops by doing a Hulk fist smash).
