I can't wait until it is warm so Keira can rock this romper!
It was a pretty simple pattern - first time I have ever made anything with snaps. If I were going to make another one I would probably make the straps thinner and shorter.
Keira needed a pair of pants to wear under her Easter dress so I modified the ruffle pants pattern to only have a single "fuller" and wider ruffle. Then just for fun I added a cinch pull on the sides of the ruffles (I had gotten the idea from a Matilda Jane catelog).
Here is a side view.
I have enjoyed sewing again! What's happening next you ask? These adorable paper pieced feathers by The Sometimes Crafter!
Ear piercing is so much easier then I remember. The "guns" they use just look like little plastic squares and the earring backs are now covered so there is nothing poking out the back. Keira did great - only a few tears were shed.
Life has been crazy busy lately. No time for crafting or blogging but I did want to post a few baby girl updates.
She REALLY wants to crawl but just isn't quite there yet which results in a lot of frustration.
Baby girl loves her solid food :) - here is a picture of her chewing on a green bean. I think it felt good on her gums - she is busy working on cutting a few teeth.
