Hiking in Boulder

It has been quite the outdoors weekend. Yesterday I did my 7 mile run and for some reason it was HARD (I'll blame it on the heat, hills, and my lingering head cold). The best part was the Mexican food and hot tub that followed. Then this morning Stark and I rocked the off leash trails in Boulder with a friend and her Goldens. Stark is a firm believer that being off leash, dirty, and eating cow s%#* is the greatest part of being a dog.

Cherry Creek Dog Park

Stark went to dog heaven today (Cherry Creek Dog Park). He loved roaming the trails and playing in the water, he even made a doggie friend.

Post fancy do...It always makes me really sad the first time we groom a puppy. They lose that uneven hair length puppy look. They look like different dogs to me afterwards.

Stark had his first vet appointment today...he is so mellow he decided to take a quick snooze while he waited.

Welcome Home Stark

Last night Stark (named after Iron Man) arrived home. He is 12 weeks old, about 27 lbs (yes he is going to be one big dog), and he is the sweetest most patient puppy ever. Very mellow and snuggly. Chase has already taken to crawling on Stark and shooting little toys at him. Jaxx has adjusted well but Bugsy is one unhappy dog. I am having a wonderful Christmas with my new furry friend!

A Moment of Weakness

We bought Jaxx at Christmas in 2004...meet Stark, Christmas puppy #2. He is a 12 week old Goldendoodle. My aunt is picking him up tomorrow night and then he will be coming home Christmas Eve day. Ahhh so excited!!! Please please please let this go smoothly.
